“National Smile Month advocates the importance of self care, choosing
healthy food, and visiting the dentist regularly, messages that are basic but
still very much needed in the U.S. where tooth decay remains the number one
unmet health need for children,” said Robert Klaus, President and CEO, Oral
Health America.
“Oral Health America is thrilled to lead the U.S. component of this
international effort to raise public awareness of oral health’s importance
to overall health. Working in collaboration with the British Dental Health
Foundation expands opportunities for both of our organizations in serving the
public and promoting oral health.
